First, make sure the phone number you entered includes the country code (for example +1 for the US, +44 for the UK). If the SMS is slow, wait a full minute and then choose Get code via call. If Telegram is already installed on another device with the same number, the code often lands inside that Telegram app instead of via SMS.
Q03How do I switch the Telegram interface to English?
Open Settings → Language and pick English. If English is not in the list, tap Apply Language Pack and choose the official English pack. The interface updates immediately, no reinstall required.
